Alpermann+Velte offers a series of timecode chips designed for different functions, formats and applications. The chips are timecode generators or readers for LTC and/or VITC according to the SMPTE/EBU standard. Extensive documentation is available for all chips.
The timecode chips feature professional signal processing, small size packages and very low power consumption, enabling the design of low-cost systems with high reliability and minimal development costs.
In addition to the standard chips, we offer customer-specific developments, from a special module up to special chip designs.

All chips have a 8-bit CPU interface and require a 5V or a 3,3V DC power supply.
